The idea for this article came to me from a collaboration request received via email and from a comment on Facebook from a copywriter friend. From the email I already understood who had written: someone who didn't know the Italian language. Wrong punctuation could be justified by haste, or even worse by the habit of destroying Italian when using writing programs, e-mail, social networks, forums, blogs, chats, etc. I ignore chats, I ignore social networks: they serve to pass the time, they are a virtual square, the language used is colloquial. I turn up my nose at forums: you don't give a good impression of yourself by writing blunders.
However, I do not intend to gloss over, not even in the slightest, professional blogs of any nature, or emails written and sent in the workplace. How can I take you seriously about your work if you can't even write correctly in your native language? The guy who asked me for a collaboration showed me his professional "showcase", actually three images similar to a Special Data brochure on MSN. All three images, a sort of flyers explaining the services of this "company", contained heavy grammatical errors. One in particular struck me, the second, the one dedicated to "Who we are", the business card, therefore, one of the most important pages to put online.
